So here I am, writing Flux CM's first blog post. Flux CM is the campus ministry of Willingdon Church, launched during Fall 2009 for university and college-going people. I have had the personal privilege of being part of this wonderful body of believers, and watching Flux CM live out its vision of bringing the presence of the local church to our campuses in Vancouver, through a simple two-fold objective:
- Sharpening Christians on campus to live out the gospel in their lives
- Reaching out to the seeker with the gospel of Jesus Christ
Currently meeting at the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and British Columbia Institute of Technology, I invite you to follow us on this blog, as we share our thoughts, news, activities and life in campus ministry. Come join our family. Walk with Christ and with us. Think with us. Grow with us. Be the change of the most incredible message that your campus will ever hear: "...Jesus Christ and Him crucified." (1 Corinthians 2:2).
